Citizens of the Week |
Congratulations to Our Citizens of the Week!
At Sebree, we celebrate students who go above and beyond in showing what it means to be respectful, responsible, and safe. Throughout the week, students earn Hooray Tickets for making positive choices. Every Friday morning, tickets from each grade level are entered into a drawing, and winners are named our Citizens of the Week. These outstanding students are recognized school-wide and get to choose a special prize as a reward for their effort.

Hispanic Heritage Month |
 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month!
Our school came alive yesterday as we honored Hispanic Heritage Month with vibrant celebrations!
 Hallway Highlights
Teachers transformed their classroom doors into beautiful displays, showcasing the rich traditions, history, and contributions of Hispanic culture. Each door told its own story and added to the festive atmosphere.
 Cultural Pride
Students proudly dressed in their native attire, filling the halls with color, pride, and cultural heritage. From traditional dresses to embroidered shirts, it was a wonderful way for students to share and celebrate their roots.
 Fiesta Feast
Staff also joined in the celebration by indulging in a delicious Fiesta filled with authentic Hispanic foods. From savory dishes to sweet treats, it was a flavorful reminder of the diversity and richness that Hispanic cultures bring to the table.
The celebration was a true reflection of unity, pride, and cultural appreciation. We are grateful for the opportunity to honor Hispanic Heritage Month together as a school community!

PBIS Rewards |
🌟 PBIS and Our School-Wide Expectations At our school, we are committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all students. One way we do this is through PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports). PBIS is a framework that helps schools teach and reinforce positive behaviors, creating a consistent culture where students can thrive academically and socially. Our school-wide expectations are simple, clear, and consistent:
- 🤝 We are Respectful
- 📚 We are Responsible
- 🛡️ We are Safe
Students are encouraged each day to demonstrate these expectations in classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria, and all areas of the school.
PBIS Rewards To celebrate and recognize students who consistently meet these expectations, we will hold PBIS Rewards every 9 weeks. Students who meet the following criteria will be invited to participate:
- 🚫 No major behavior referrals during the 9 weeks
- 📅 No unexcused absences during the 9 weeks
- ✍️ No more than 4 minor behavior incidents during the 9 weeks
- ✅ Passing grades in all subjects (grades 3–6)
The PBIS Rewards will take place on:
- 🎃 October 31
- ❄️ January 23
- 🌸 March 27
🏆 End of Year Reward In addition to the quarterly rewards, students will have the opportunity to earn a large End-of-Year PBIS Reward. To qualify, students must meet the following expectations for the entire school year:
- 🚫 No more than one major behavior referral for the year
- 📅 No unexcused absences for the year
- ✅ Passing grades in all subjects (grades 3–6)
