We are officially 24 days into the school year 🎉, and things are really starting to pick up! I am so proud of the positive momentum we’ve built since returning to school. Our students and staff have embraced new opportunities, and it’s been wonderful to see so many great things happening around our building.
🌟 Sebree Leaders – Mrs. Frazer has worked hard to grow this program, and our student leaders now have more responsibility than ever before! They are: 🚗 Opening car doors and greeting students at drop-off 👋 Helping with afternoon pick-up 🍎 Assisting with breakfast and straightening the gym 📚 Lending a hand with Homework Help 🎟️ Collecting grade-level Hooray Tickets on Thursday afternoons for the Friday morning drawings
💻 Screen Team – Our 6th grade students are running the daily school slideshow, keeping everyone updated and showcasing what’s happening around Sebree.
💡 Guidance Lessons – Mrs. Ellis has begun her monthly guidance classes focused on character traits, social-emotional learning, and de-escalation strategies. These lessons help our students build skills that will serve them both inside and outside the classroom.
Thank you for your continued support. It’s exciting to see our students stepping up as leaders, helpers, and role models. I can’t wait to share more updates with you as the year continues! ❤️

Citizens of the Week |
Congratulations to Our Citizens of the Week!
At Sebree, we celebrate students who go above and beyond in showing what it means to be respectful, responsible, and safe. Throughout the week, students earn Hooray Tickets for making positive choices. Every Friday morning, tickets from each grade level are entered into a drawing, and winners are named our Citizens of the Week. These outstanding students are recognized school-wide and get to choose a special prize as a reward for their effort.

📚 Reading Logs Begin This Week for Grades K–3! 📚 We are excited to launch our Reading Logs this week for all students in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade! Each student will receive a reading folderthat goes home daily. Inside the folder, you will find:
- A passage that your child must read at home each night.
- A reading log paper that includes the passage title, the date it should be read, and a space for a parent/guardian signature.
This will serve as your child’s homework each night. Please be sure the reading log is signed nightly as your child completes their reading. Consistent daily practice at home builds confidence, fluency, and a lifelong love for reading! 💙 |
